Before engaging with transits to vast galactic phenomena in upcoming posts, Venus and Ceres list their request for well-deserved attention to their agendas in these fraught times. It’s so weird out there and life demands details, facts and perfection of direction amongst the excitement of emotional reactions that battle mental priorities for the top of the chart listing. Venus and Ceres condition responses and untangle results.
The title of this post does not imply “yield” in a give up the right of way and clear passage manner. This refers to either preparing to achieve the results one seeks in life, or to harvest the fruits of ones labors, and not only by collecting low-hanging fruit... but figuring a way to pluck from the top of the vine or tree.
Ceres prepares to turn direct (26 August) and as she does, she directly conjoins the centaur Pholus in Capricorn. Her station occurs two days before Mercury’s resumption of direct motion. Might this portend making something of the mental mishmash in play?
Pholus was a wise and just centaur normally dispensing great insight. When Hercules visited his cave, propitiation protocols apparently were ignored when it came to getting into the stash of scared wine entrusted to Pholus by Dionysus. The end result: a debacle that caused the death of many centaurs and the ironic wounding of the immortal Chiron. While the mundane messaging evidently has to do with the consumption of food and drink, the soul-centric messaging declares a simple agenda: If you seek agency in your life, make every act taken in life a rendering of your soul to achieve its reason for this incarnation. Get on point. Reaffirm destiny urges. Realize that the absolute driving force in life insists that all energy and effort must promote the best needs on the inner being.
Ceres in Capricorn stations with Pholus as a reminder that one must advocate clearly and completely in the interest of fulfillment of soulful matters. There is no other cause. This is it.
Ceres advocates. She advocates with intensity, commitment, focus, determination and holds little or no concern for how others perceive her agenda.
Over the next weeks, staging can be constructed that supports cause efforts and more important, no matter what the season is where you live (seeding in the southern hemisphere; harvesting in the northern hemisphere, it is all about the harvest - the end result. That is the agenda. Reap what you have sown.
Venus requires an assessment of need, what is required and seeps into the deeper recesses of ones consciousness to seek out the how and why that underscores the need. Here, lives soulful intention, the urge for destiny-based fulfillment and the sensation of bliss that comes from contributing to the world during the course of ones incarnation.
17 August - Venus in Virgo conjunct Orcus
The impelling cosmic forces of this alignment lead a person to make a sacred promise to themself. It is a vow... an oath that formally declares the intention of the soul within an incarnation’s purpose. This is a promise that must be kept. No matter what, the perfect path forward contains only those steps that directly contribute to the reason for one being on Earth in the first place. Orcus, an alternate Plutonian guide, declares firmly, “Do not let yourself down. Remember your vow. Feel the sacredness of your oath and function accordingly in all ways. Realize that every day your sole function is to strive forward in compliance with your incarnation agenda, and in so doing, fulfill your vow to yourself. Do so as if there is no tomorrow.”
18 August - Venus in Virgo opposite Saturn in Pisces, square Jupiter in Gemini
First off, in this t-square, there’s the matter of value. Is what you need/want actually going to be fulfilling? What if you got what you fully needed and not everything you wanted? Would you be downtrodden and disappointed? Can results be perceived as the direct result of tasks undertaken and nothing more? Is the cause and effect relationship fully understood? If results come in accompanied by a nagging sense of not having enough, can the agenda be reset accordingly, or does one need to invest more time, energy and resource for a fully satisfying agenda? No matter what conclusion is derived, it is time to advocate without limitation for what one wants.
22 August - Venus in Virgo square Mars in Gemini
Use no word salad. No rambling stream of consciousness (or subconsciousness) splatter. Focus on the message. Be succinct. Be articulate. What is your need? Can others be involved? Is so, how and within what boundaries? What is personally required to fulfill your need? Get on with it, sparing no expense in resources required. Examine your output. Ramp it up such that what you portray fulfills the image of the intensity and fecundity that you are! Charge sufficiently for your energetic output.
An interesting time lies ahead. It is a time of option-oriented reality. It is a swirling time in which mutability seeks to ensure that every possible element of life is considered and fully processed. This does bring up and interesting question: When one locates and defines what they want, is it necessary to look further? Would such quadruple or quintuple checking formulaic response and equations serve a viable purpose or waste time and inspire indecisiveness?
Seeding and harvesting both contain extreme time sensitivity responsiveness. Seeds must be sowed in an appropriate time to ensure full application of the growing season that lies ahead. Harvesting must occur when the fruits are fully and perfectly nurtured on the plant. One must not miss the harvest wave and permit fruit to rot on the vine. Sure, some grapes will be Sun-cured to make raisins. The same is true for plums seeking manifestation as a prune. Still, in both situations, the sense of this is the right time to gather bounty is endorsed by Saturn in Pisces. Seeking perfect timeliness, one collects the yield prior to any curing or aging process that may intend to apply, subsequent to the harvest.
